Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data ValidEmailer collects, why we collect it, who touches it, and how you get it removed. The short version: your lists are yours, we use them only to run verifications you request, and we never sell or share them.

What we collect

• Account data — your name, email address, and a hashed password when you register.
• Uploaded lists — the email addresses you upload or paste for verification, along with the verdicts and scores produced for them.
• Usage data — credit transactions, verification job history, and standard technical logs (IP address, browser type) needed to operate and secure the service.

Why we collect it

We use this data for exactly one purpose: providing the verification service you signed up for — running jobs you start, showing you results, maintaining your credit balance, and answering your support requests. We do not use your lists for advertising, profiling, or training, and we do not sell or share them with anyone.

Subprocessors

A small number of providers process data on our behalf:

• Stripe — payment processing. We never see or store your full card details.
• Verification provider — receives the email addresses you submit, solely to verify them. It receives no other personal data about you or your contacts.
• Hosting provider — runs the infrastructure the service operates on.

Retention

Your lists and their results stay in your account until you delete them or close your account — whichever comes first. When you delete a list, it and its results are removed. When you delete your account, all associated data is deleted within 30 days.

Your rights (GDPR and similar laws)

You can access, export, or delete your data at any time. Lists and results are exportable and deletable directly from the dashboard; for a full account export or deletion, email support from your account address and we will process it. We do not require a form, a phone call, or a waiting period.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only — the ones required to keep you signed in and the service working. There are no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics pixels, and no cross-site tracking.

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. Data is encrypted at rest by our hosting provider. Internal access follows a least-access principle: staff can only reach customer data when a support request or operational task requires it.
