Terms of Service

Last updated: August 17, 2026

These terms govern your use of ValidEmailer (validemailer.com). By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

ValidEmailer verifies email addresses you submit — individually or in bulk — and returns a verdict for each one. You prepay for verifications with credits; one credit verifies one address. Purchases are handled by Stripe. Related policies: Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

2. Accounts

Provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. One account per person or organization. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

3. Acceptable use

ValidEmailer exists to improve legitimate email programs, not to enable spam. By using the service you agree that:

  • You have a lawful basis (consent, contract, or legitimate interest, as applicable law requires) to email the addresses you verify.
  • You will not use the service to launder purchased, scraped, or harvested lists into sendable ones.
  • You will not use the service to facilitate unsolicited bulk email, phishing, or any activity that violates anti-spam laws (such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or PECR).
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts we reasonably believe are being used for abuse, without refund of used credits.

4. Credits

Credits are prepaid, non-transferable, and usable only within the purchasing account. They do not expire. Credits are consumed when a verification runs; cancelled portions of a job are automatically refunded to your balance as credits.

5. Disclaimers

Verdicts are best-effort signals based on information mail servers expose at the time of checking. They are not guarantees of delivery: mailboxes fill, servers change behavior, and catch-all domains cannot be conclusively verified by any service. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or damaged sender reputation.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time; your data is then deleted per the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Where reasonably possible, we will notify you and give you a chance to export your data first — except in cases of clear abuse.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction to be confirmed], excluding its conflict-of-law rules.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we will notify you by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
